Fine Art Printmaker in London

Studying at the Kingston School of Art

My multi-disciplinary Practice orbits the desire of exploring Print in an in-depth manner. Working in the Design and Fine Art fields; my works sit on the foundation of design while working within a Fine Art context. The tactile element of the print process exhilarates my practice, allowing me to push the boundaries of traditional design printmaking and the material itself. I am a recent Fine Art graduate from Kingston School of Art. I have past educational experience in Illustration and Visual Communication, and a strong graphic design background, which has led my practice to have a very multi-disciplinary approach. My expansive knowledge of the print processes benefits my work significantly. I have trained in Letterpress, Risoprint, Lithography, Relief, and Screen Printing. Screenprinting and Relief being my area of expertise, working alongside Print Technicians has encouraged me to look beyond my own work, allowing me to understand why print is so important today and why it is even more important to teach the tactile nature of the print room that you cannot recreate digitally. My more recent works have been questioning and pushing the boundaries of the Art Institution and the Gallery throughout the pandemic, I have questioned why these places hold a high ranking in the Art world and why as soon-to-be graduates we strive for success and approval from the institutions in our careers. Through making and launching ‘Here’, a pop up gallery-like space, I have addressed these issues with an outcome that allows the artist to be at the forefront.
